Chichester-Miles Leopard

03/31/2008. Remarks by Johan Visschedijk: "This four-seat light business aircraft was the brainchild of Ian Chichester-Miles, who formulated the concept in the early eighties. Detail-design and construction of the prototype was done by Designability of Dilton Marsh, Wiltshire, and powered by two 319 lb (150 kg) st Noel Penny Turbines NPT301-3 turbojets it flew for the first time on December 12, 1988. The registration was cancelled on January 25, 1999.

A pre-production aircraft, G-BRNM c/n 002, powered by two 700 lb (318 kg) st Williams International FJX-1 turbofans, was flown on April 9, 1997. It was stricken from the register on January 31, 2005."
