08/31/2012. The light multi-purpose two-seat Marabu (Marabou) was, alike the BFW 1, a development of the Udet U 12. The sole BFW 3 was fitted with an 86 hp Siemens & Halske Sh 11, and was first flown in late 1927 and was registered in February 1928. In June it was sold to the DVS and from August 1928 it operated from K nigsberg. Its ultimate fate is unknown.
